HOW TO USE

Encode URL values

Use component mode for a query value. Use full-URL mode when protocol and URL delimiters should remain intact.

Example

The query value a b&c becomes a%20 b%26 c in component mode.

Before you use the result

Do not encode an entire URL as a query component unless that URL is itself a parameter value.
